How it works and what we want

We're interested in properties where the owner is looking for a quick simple sale. If you or your contacts know of such properties, we'll pay you for passing us the information. You do need to make sure the property owner is happy for us to contact them, but they will usually be people you know through family, friends or the workplace.

If you know about a property that isn't on the market yet or which has been stuck on the market for a long time and where the seller has decided they need a quick sale, then that information is valuable to us so we'll pay you £350 for any property lead which results in us buying the property.

Be open with the owner, just as we will be

In order to register a lead with us you MUST first make sure the owner is happy for us to contact them. If the owner is a friend or colleague we'd hope you'll be able to pose them this question:

"If you wanted to sell your property quickly, there's a company I know called Westfield which helps people by buying property quickly and with no hidden catches. With your permission, can I pass your details and a brief description of the property on to them and have them give you a call?"

You can be confident the owner will not be faced with any costs, that there is no obligation and that the whole matter will be handled in the strictest confidence

What sort of property do we want?

We mostly buy houses, but are also interested in shops, land and commercial properties. It's usually the owner's circumstances or personal preference that means we can help them and the common situations are :

• The owner needs a fast property sale and completion
• Their current sale chain has broken and they need a solution
• If they have financial problems, they may be facing repossession
• They may be planning to move abroad and want a quick sale
• They have inherited a property and want to sell it without hassle
• The house needs modernisation or repairs and may prove difficult to sell
• Some people want to avoid estate agents
• Perhaps don't like the idea of viewers visiting their home?
• Maybe they need a guaranteed cash offer, fast
• They are concerned about falling house prices
• The idea of joining a property chain fills them with dread
